Position Summary

The Senior Account Executive will focus on growing business within the Walmart and Club retail channels. This is an opportunity to inherit and expand established relationships with some of the nation’s largest retailers. The successful candidate will deepen strategic partnerships, identify growth opportunities, present compelling business solutions, and drive revenue expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account growth plans that maximize opportunities while aligning with company objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs, goals, and business challenges and delivering effective solutions.
  • Balance growth objectives, profitability targets, inventory considerations, and product development timelines.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, brand stewardship, and confidentiality.
  • Strengthen relationships and establish credibility with key decision-makers and executive stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, communications, and activity within CRM systems.
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals and performance targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support customer success and business growth.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of successful sales experience managing Walmart and Club retail accounts.
  • Proven track record of sales growth within domestic retail channels.
  • Experience within consumer products, retail, or related industries preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong consultative and customer-focused selling skills.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop creative solutions for customer needs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in account management, opportunity development, strategic sales planning, and relationship building.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
