We are working with a client in Scranton PA who is looking to add a controller to their team.
This is an Accounting and Finance focused leadership role to take on ownership of all the Financial Reporting & Accounting functions. Due to the nature of the business including routine interaction with those in operations and sales, this is ideally a normal on-site career opportunity. However, hybrid candidates will be considered, as long as on-site is doable a portion of each week.
The company is currently about $20M in annual revenues with a goal to grow through new product offerings as well as new market entrances. Business is led by team of impressive executives with significant and relevant industry experience and is looking for the Controller to be a utility player and be a major contributor to the leadership team. The successful professional to take on this role to be an integral part of growing this company will possess the following experiences / skills:
- This is a hands-on accounting focused leadership role. Experiences with costing accounting & analysis (CMA), inventory, cash flow management, and other Distribution/Operations Controller experiences are a key success factor in this role.
- Familiarity with SAGE and Microsoft Excel is REQUIRED. Familiarity with Power BI is BONUS.
- Distribution Industry experience is IDEAL.
- Experience with International sourcing and SKU management is IDEAL.
- Experience working for a PE backed company or bank leveraged companies are a BONUS.
- CPA certification is REQUIRED.
