The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing the product roadmap for our portfolio of billiards brands and effectively marketing those products to customers (retailers) and consumers (players).
The ideal candidate will have multiple years of experience with product development in CPG, ideally sporting goods, and be familiar with relevant workflows such as a Stage-Gate Processes. They will also have experience marketing products – telling the story of product features and benefits, why retailers should stock our brands, and why consumers should want to buy them.
Tasks
- Own the Product Development Roadmap and manage product development projects
- Own Brand Strategy of all products under 3 brands (potentially more in the future)
- Marketing Strategy development and implementation for multiple brands
- Work Cross-Functionally to bring new products to market, working with production teams, graphic designers, sales teams, and supply chain.
- Website content ownership (product detail pages, blog content, consumer education, and all visual elements of the websites e.g. banners) for multiple brands/websites
- Social Media Management – In-house and via agencies
- Organic Demand Generation (Email, SMS, Social media marketing as deemed appropriate)
- Direct printed and other in-store POP development with Graphic Designer
- Trade Show Planning (and attendance) and other Sales support as needed
- Set Product pricing to meet revenue and margin goals for product lines
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, an associate’s degree, or requisite experience.
- Experience in a CPG or similar product development and marketing role
- Ability to write compelling consumer-facing copy
