The National Sales Manager / National Account Manager will play a critical role in driving sales growth across key national retail accounts. This individual will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and expanding business within major mass and big-box retailers.

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial sales leader with a strong track record in general merchandise and durable consumer goods categories. The ideal candidate is someone who knows how to build business — not simply manage an inherited book of accounts.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Proven success in B2B sales within consumer products, preferably in housewares, cleaning products, kitchen tools/gadgets, home organization, cookware, or related durable goods categories
- Strong experience calling on major brick-and-mortar retail accounts
- Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding sales targets with quantifiable results
- Experience developing and pioneering new business opportunities
- Established retail buyer relationships within mass retail channels
- Strong strategic selling, negotiation, and account management skills
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and drive growth initiatives
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to travel as needed
Preferred Background
- Experience within general merchandise categories is strongly preferred
- Home category experience highly desirable
- Experience with Walmart, Dollar General, TJX/HomeGoods, or Target strongly preferred
- Club channel experience is a plus
- Southern California / Los Angeles-based candidates preferred, though flexible for the right individual
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth across national retail accounts
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within target retailers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and key retail stakeholders
- Lead account strategy, assortment planning, and growth initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal sales support and operations teams to ensure excellent customer execution
- Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities for expansion
- Maintain strong product and category knowledge across the company’s portfolio
- Represent the company professionally at retailer meetings, line reviews, and industry events
