Position Overview:
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational aspects of the company, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness across domestic and international operations. This role includes managing cost analysis, production processes related to bottling and mixing, quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC), as well as international operations management, including regulatory coordination. The Operations Manager will also handle product development project management and budget planning. The role requires close collaboration with senior leadership to align operational strategies with the company’s business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s budget and sales goals.
- Collaborate with senior management to set long-term operational targets and budgetary guidelines.
- Analyze financial reports and operational data to make informed decisions.
- Operational Oversight:
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to drive performance improvements.
- Production Oversight:
- Oversee production processes for bottling and mixing, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Develop and implement procedures and best practices to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure the timely availability of materials and resources.
- Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC):
- Develop and enforce quality assurance and quality control programs to maintain high standards in production and product quality.
- Support QA/QC teams in resolving quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure production processes meet regulatory requirements and industry standards for quality and safety.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for process optimization and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead initiatives to streamline operations and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
- Risk and Compliance Management:
- Identify potential operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including international regulations.
- International Operations Management:
- Oversee and manage international operations, ensuring alignment with global strategies and compliance with local regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies for expanding and optimizing international operations.
- Address and resolve operational challenges specific to international markets.
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage special projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing operational performance.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
- Extensive experience in operations management including international, with a proven track record of successful leadership.
- Experience managing international operations and understanding of global market dynamics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in operations management, NetSuite software and tools.
- Financial acumen, budget management, strong organizational, multitasking abilities
