Job Description

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for all of the various activities necessary to bring a product from inception to production on time, on budget while ensuring all technical requirements are properly met.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Technical ownership of all aspects of the projects
  • Detailed design review of products to ensure technical integrity of the product
  • Market research to find solutions for both sourcing and technical difficulties
  • Ability to adjust and resolve obstacles during the project
  • Developing Project Schedule (MSproject)
  • Maintaining project schedule by monitoring project progress
  • Coordinating activities within departments and suppliers
  • Interface with global cross functional teams
  • Manage all vendors to align with project goals and timelines
  • Regular project status reporting to all management levels and different departments
  • Review Test procedures and support the development of new ones
  • Project documentation management and updating of digital files

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years in project management or project engineering
  • Electromechanical product development 
  • Interfacing with different engineering teams including Mechanical, electrical (both HW & FW)
  • Interfacing with factories in China  
  • Microsoft 365 including Microsoft Project 

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferable)
