The Inside Sales Representative handles inbound and outbound calls, develops new leads, and communicates with customers to understand their needs with the focus of closing business. It requires you to interact with hundreds of prospects each week across the country and ensure a best-in-class customer experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Make calls to potential customers, follow up on leads and communicate with existing customers
- Meet and surpass sales goals set by management
- Manage customers in the CRM
- Resolve customer issues by collaborating with other departments
- Regularly contact prospects and customers to develop strong relationships
- Develop a strong customer funnel
- Establish positive rapport with customers via phone and in person
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience selling steel
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in measurement and basic mathematics
- Professionalism in all situations in the workplace and when working with customers
