The Opportunity

We are hiring a Head of eCommerce to build and scale a profitable direct-to-consumer business. Today, direct website sales generate approximately far below the channel’s potential.

This is a builder role for an entrepreneurial eCommerce leader who wants to own strategy, execution, and results.


What You’ll Own

eCommerce Strategy & Performance

  • Develop and execute the end-to-end eCommerce strategy for website
  • Own revenue, margin, conversion, CAC, and customer lifetime value
  • Fix unsustainable acquisition economics and drive profitable growth

Digital Marketing & Growth

  • Lead digital marketing across paid media, organic, email, and social channels
  • Optimize site performance, funnels, and conversion rates
  • Manage and direct external content, creative, and social agencies

Community & Customer Development

  • Build a customer community through email, social, and brand-driven initiatives
  • Launch loyalty, retention, and repeat-purchase programs
  • Use customer insights to inform content, merchandising, and product direction

Product & Channel Expansion

  • Partner with product teams to capitalize on the 18–24 month window before products reach retail
  • Reduce dependency on Amazon by capturing customers directly
  • Support international eCommerce growth (U.S. and Canada initially)

Who We’re Looking For

Experience

  • Proven experience building and scaling a DTC or eCommerce channel from the ground up
  • Hands-on digital marketing and growth experience (not just strategy oversight)
  • Track record of improving unit economics and profitability
